His saying, the Exalted: "unjustly"

4880 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "unjustly," meaning: treating it as lawful without a right.

His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, they consume only fire into their bellies"

4881 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Uqbah ibn Mukram reported to us, Yunus, meaning ibn Bukayr, reported to us, Ziyad ibn al-Mundhir reported to us, from Nafi' ibn al-Harith, from Abu Barzah that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, a people will be resurrected from their graves with their mouths blazing with fire." It was said: "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Did you not see that Allah the Exalted says: 'Indeed, those who consume the wealth of orphans unjustly, they only consume into their bellies fire,' [up to the end of] the verse?"

4882 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "they consume only fire into their bellies," he said: When a man stands to consume the wealth of an orphan unjustly, he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection with flames of fire coming out of his mouth, his nostrils, his ears, his nose, and his eyes. He who sees him will recognize that he [used to] consume the wealth of the orphan.

4883 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih, the scribe of al-Layth, reported to us, al-Layth narrated to me, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to me that he said: Whoever consumes the wealth of the orphan will be seized by his lips on the Day of Resurrection, then his mouth will be filled with embers, and it will be said to him: "Eat just as you ate it in the world." Then he will enter the Great Blaze [al-Sa'ir].

4884 - My father narrated to us, 'Abdah reported to us, Abu 'Abd al-Samad 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad al-'Ammi informed us, Abu Harun al-'Abdi reported to us, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: We said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell us what you saw on the night of the Isra' [Night Journey]." He said: "I was taken to a large number of Allah's creation, men where every man among them had two lips like the lips of a camel. A man is assigned to them; men open the jaws of one of them, then a rock of fire is brought and cast into the mouth of one of them until it exits from his lower part, and he emits groans and screams." I said: "O Jibril, who are these?" He said: "These are those who consume the wealth of orphans unjustly; they consume only fire into their bellies, and they will burn in a blazing fire [al-Sa'ir]."

His saying, the Exalted: "and they will burn in a blazing fire"

4885 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar ibn al-Khattab who said: When the 'Mujibat' [those deeds which make necessary] were revealed, which Allah made the Fire necessary for whoever performs them, such as this verse: 'and they will burn in a blazing fire,' we used to testify against anyone who did any of this that he was for the Fire, until [the verse] was revealed: 'Indeed, Allah does not forgive that one should associate anything with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.' When it was revealed, we refrained from testifying, and we did not testify that they were in the Fire, and we feared for them due to what Allah had made necessary for them."
