4926 - And by the same chain, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "of what you leave": meaning, of the inheritance that her husband left.
His saying, the Exalted: "if you have no"
4927 - And by the same chain, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "if you have no": meaning, for her husband who died and left her.
His saying, the Exalted: "child"
4928 - And by the same chain, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "if you have no child": He said: A child from her or from other than her.
His saying, the Exalted: "but if you have"
meaning: for the man.
His saying, the Exalted: "a child"
4929 - And by the same chain, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "but if you have a child": He said: A child, whether male or female.
His saying, the Exalted: "then for them is the eighth"
4930 - Bahr ibn Nasr al-Khawlani narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Wahb informed us, Dawud ibn Qays narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that the wife of Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' said: O Messenger of Allah, Sa'd has perished and left two daughters and his brother. His brother then acted and seized what Sa'd had left. Women are only married for their wealth. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Summon his brother to me." He came, and he said: "Give his two daughters two-thirds, and give the wife the eighth, and for you is what remains."

4931 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abdullah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "then for them is the eighth of what you leave": meaning, of the wealth the husband left.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ
٤٩٢٦ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ يَعْنِي: مِمَّا تَرَكَ زَوْجُهَا مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ
٤٩٢٧ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ يَعْنِي: لِزَوْجِهَا الَّذِي مَاتَ عَنْهَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَدٌ
٤٩٢٨ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: إِنَّ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ قَالَ: وَلَدٌ مِنْهَا وَلا مِنْ غَيْرِهَا.
قَوْلُهُ تعالى: فإن كان لكم
يعني: للرجل.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَدٌ
٤٩٢٩ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَإِنْ كان لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ قَالَ: وَلَدٌ ذَكَرٌ أَوْ أُنْثَى.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلَهُنَّ الثَّمَنُ
٤٩٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْخَوْلانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حدثني داود ابن قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةَ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ الله، إن سعد أهلك وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَيْنِ وَأَخَاهُ، فَعَمَدَ أَخُوهُ فَقَبَضَ مَا تَرَكَ سَعْدٌ، وَإِنَّمَا تُنْكَحُ النِّسَاءُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِنَّ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ادْعُ لِي أَخَاهُ، فَجَاءَ، فَقَالَ: ادْفَعْ إِلَى ابْنَتَيْهِ الثُّلُثَيْنِ، وَإِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ الثَّمَنَ وَلَكَ مَا بَقِيَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ
٤٩٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ يَعْنِي: مِمَّا تَرَكَ الزَّوْجُ مِنَ الْمَالِ.
