[His saying, the Exalted: "And Allah is Knowing, Forbearing"]
4947 - Muhammad ibn al-Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Zunayj narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us: "And Allah is Knowing," meaning: Knowing of what they conceal.
4948 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abdullah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of God the Exalted: "Knowing," meaning: knowledgeable of them.
His saying, the Exalted: "These are the limits of Allah"

4949 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih, the scribe of al-Layth, narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "These are the limits of Allah," meaning: obedience to Allah, meaning: the inheritances which He defined.
And the second interpretation:
4950 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Abdullah narrated to us, Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id regarding His saying: "These are the limits of Allah," meaning: the custom of Allah and His command regarding the distribution of the inheritance.
And the third interpretation:
4951 - Ahmad ibn Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "These are the limits of Allah," meaning: the conditions of Allah.
His saying, the Exalted: "And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger"

4952 - Usayd ibn Asim narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas regarding: "These are the limits of Allah, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger," he said: "[This concerns] causing harm in the will." It was narrated from al-Hasan similar to that.
And the second interpretation:
4953 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid regarding: "And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger," he said: "In what He has ordained concerning the inheritances."

٤٩٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ثنا زُنَيْجٌ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ أَيْ: عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يُخْفُونَ.
٤٩٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: عَلِيمٌ يَعْنِي: عَالِماً بِهَا.

٤٩٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ كَاتِبُ اللَّيْثِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ ابْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي: طَاعَةَ اللَّهِ، يَعْنِي: الْمَوَارِيثَ الَّتِي سَمَّى.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٤٩٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ قَوْلَهُ: تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي: سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ وأَمْرَهُ فِي قِسْمَةِ الْمِيرَاثِ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:
٤٩٥١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي: شُرُوطَ اللَّهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ يُطِعِ الله ورسوله

٤٩٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ: الإِضْرَارُ فِي الْوَصِيَّةِ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٤٩٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ: فِيمَا اقْتَصَّ مِنَ الْمَوَارِيثِ.
