5051 - And with the same chain, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And you gave one of them a qintar," he said: If you dislike your wife and you like another, so you divorce this one and marry that one, then give this one her dowry, even if it is a qintar.

5052 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Musa ibn 'Ubaydah, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Yuhannas, from Umm al-Darda', from Abu al-Darda', he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever recites fifty verses in a night, he will have morning as if he has a qintar of reward," and the qintar is like a great mountain.

5053 - Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Barqi narrated to us, 'Amr—meaning the son of Abi Salamah—narrated to us, Zuhayr—meaning the son of Muhammad—informed us, Humayd al-Tawil narrated to us, and another man he named, from Anas, from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) that he said regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And you gave one of them a qintar," meaning: One thousand dinars.

5054 - My father narrated to us, Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, al-'Ala' ibn Khalid ibn Wardan narrated to us, Yazid al-Raqashi narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The qintar is one thousand dinars."

5055 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Bakr narrated to us, from 'Ayyash, Abu Husayn narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Mu'adh, he said: The qintar is one thousand and two hundred ounces (uqiyyah). (It was also narrated from Abu al-Darda' and Abu Hurayrah something similar).

5056 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, and from al-Taymi, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, he said: The qintar is eighty thousand.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَاراً
٥٠٥١ - وَبِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عباس قَوْلَهُ: وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَاراً قَالَ: إِنْ كَرِهْتَ امْرَأَتَكَ وَأَعْجَبَكَ غَيْرُهَا، فَطَلَّقْتَ هَذِهِ وَتَزَوَّجْتَ تِلْكَ، فَأَعْطِ هَذِهِ مَهْرَهَا وَإِنْ كَانَ قِنْطَاراً.

٥٠٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ موسى بن عبيدة، عن محمد ابن إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ يُحَنَّسَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم: من قرأ الخمسين آية في ليلة أصبح له قنطارا مِنَ الأَجْرِ، وَالْقِنْطَارُ مِثْلُ التَّلِّ الْعَظِيمِ.

٥٠٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ، ثنا عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي: ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنْبَأَ زُهَيْرٌ يَعْنِي: ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ وَرَجُلٌ آخَرَ سَمَّاهُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قنطارا يَعْنِي: أَلْفَا دِينَارٍ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:
٥٠٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: الْقِنْطَارُ أَلْفُ دِينَارٍ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ:
٥٠٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَيَّاشٍ، ثنا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ: أَلْفٌ وَمِائَتَا أُوقِيَّةٍ- وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ وَأَبَى هُرَيْرَةَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الْخَامِسُ:
٥٠٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ: ثَمَانُونَ أَلْفًا.
