[The sixth interpretation]
5057 - My father narrated to us, 'Arim narrated to us, from Hammad, from Sa'id al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, he said: The qintar is the amount that fills a bull's skin of gold. Muhammad ibn Musa al-Harashi also narrated it from Hammad ibn Zayd, attributed to the Prophet (marfu'), but the stopped version (mawquf) is more correct.

5058 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tehrani narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, 'Umar ibn Hawshab informed us, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani, that Ibn 'Umar was asked about the meaning of "the qintar," and he said: Seventy thousand. Similar to this was also narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib in one of his two opinions, and from Mujahid and Tawus.

5059 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray', from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding this verse: "And you gave one of them a qintar," he said: The qintar is one thousand and two hundred dinars.

5060 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Isma'il, from Abu Salih, he said: The qintar is one hundred ratl (a unit of weight). Similar to this was also narrated from 'Amr al-Sha'bi, al-Suddi, and Qatadah.

5061 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, regarding his saying: "a qintar," he said: Among the Arabs are those who say: "The qintar is one thousand dinars," and among them are those who say: "Twelve thousand." And it was narrated from al-Hasan in one of the accounts that he said: "Twelve thousand."

5062 - My father narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Isa ibn Maysarah al-Harithi narrated to us, Zafir narrated to us, Habban narrated to us, from Sa'd ibn Tarif, from Abu Ja'far, he said: The qintar is fifteen thousand mithqal (a weight unit), and the mithqal is twenty-four qirat (carats), the smallest of which is like Uhud, and the largest of which is what lies between the heaven and the earth.

٥٠٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَارِمٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبَى نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبَى سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ مِلْءُ مِسْكِ ثَوْرٍ ذَهَباً- وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ مَرْفُوعاً، الْمَوْقُوفُ أَصَحُّ.

٥٠٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَ عُمَرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ سُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: الْقِنْطَارُ، قَالَ: سَبْعُونَ أَلْفاً- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ فِي إِحْدَى قَوْلَيْهِ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَطَاوُسٍ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّامِنُ:
٥٠٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي هَذِهِ الآيَةِ: وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَاراً قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ: أَلْفٌ وَمِائَتَا دِينَارٍ.
وَالوجه التَّاسِعُ:
٥٠٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ: مِائَةُ رَطْلٍ- وروي عن عمرو الشعبي وَالسُّدِّيِّ، وَقَتَادَةَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الْعَاشِرُ:
٥٠٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ جُوَيْبِرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: قِنْطَاراً قَالَ: مِنَ الْعَرَبِ مَنْ يَقُولُ: الْقِنْطَارُ: أَلْفُ دِينَارٍ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولِ، اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي إِحْدَى الرِّوَايَاتِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: اثَنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفاً.

٥٠٦٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثنا زَافِرٌ، ثنا حَبَّانُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ: خمسة عشر ألفا مِثْقَالٍ، وَالْمِثْقَالُ:
أَرْبَعَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ قِيرَاطًا، أَصْغَرُهَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَأَكْبَرُهَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.
