Muhammad ibn Musa al-Harashi also narrated it from Hammad ibn Zayd, attributed to the Prophet (marfu'), but the stopped version (mawquf) is more correct.

Similar to this was also narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib in one of his two opinions, and from Mujahid and Tawus.

[The tenth interpretation]

5061 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, regarding his saying: "a qintar," he said: Among the Arabs are those who say: "The qintar is one thousand dinars," and among them are those who say: "Twelve thousand." And it was narrated from al-Hasan in one of the accounts that he said: "Twelve thousand."

[The eleventh interpretation]

5062 - My father narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Isa ibn Maysarah al-Harithi narrated to us, Zafir narrated to us, Habban narrated to us, from Sa'd ibn Tarif, from Abu Ja'far, he said: The qintar is fifteen thousand mithqal (a weight unit), and the mithqal is twenty-four qirat (carats), the smallest of which is like Uhud, and the largest of which is what lies between the heaven and the earth.
