5364 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Maymun al-Iskandarani narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani regarding His saying: "And if you are ill or on a journey," he said: Smallpox (al-judari), a piercing wound (al-ja'ifah), and a head wound reaching the brain (al-ma'mumah)—[the person] performs tayammum and prays. Sa'id said: I related this to al-Zuhri, and he did not recognize [the medical terms] al-ja'ifah and al-ma'mumah, and he said: He performs ghusl and avoids the site of the wound.

5365 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Malik ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Qays narrated to us, from Khusayf, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "And [do not approach prayer] in a state of janaba, except those passing through [a place of prayer] until you have washed [your whole bodies]. And if you are ill or on a journey," he said: It was revealed concerning a man from the Ansar who was ill and could not stand to perform wudu', and he had no servant to help him. He came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and mentioned that to him, so Allah, the Exalted, revealed this verse.
His saying, the Exalted: "Or on a journey, or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself (al-gha'it)"
5366 - My father narrated to us, Abu Hudhayfah narrated to us, Shibl narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "Or on a journey, or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself," and al-gha'it is the valley.
His saying, the Exalted: "Or you have touched women"

5367 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Or you have touched women," he said: Sexual intercourse. It was narrated from 'Ali, Ubayy ibn Ka'b, Mujahid, Tawus, al-Hasan, 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, al-Sha'bi, Qatadah, and Muqatil ibn Hayyan similarly.

5368 - Abu 'Abd Allah Hammad ibn al-Hasan ibn 'Anbasah narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mukhariq, from Tariq, from 'Abd Allah, who said: Touching (al-lams) is anything less than sexual intercourse. It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar, 'Ubaydah, Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi, Abu 'Ubaydah, al-Sha'bi, Thabit ibn al-Hajjaj, Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, and Zayd ibn Aslam similarly.

٥٣٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ، فِي قوله: وإن كنتم مرضى أو على سفر قَالَ: الْجُدَرِيُّ وَالْجَائِفَةُ، وَالْمَأْمُومَةُ يَتَيَمَّمُ وَيُصَلِّي، قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: فَتَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ الزُّهْرِيَّ فَلَمْ يُعْرَفِ الْجَائِفَةَ وَالْمَأْمُومَةَ، وَقَالَ: يَغْتَسِلُ وَيَتْرُكُ مَوْضِعَ الْجِرَاحِ.

٥٣٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَوْلَهُ: وَلا جُنُباً إِلا عَابِرِي سَبِيلٍ حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلُوا وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَانَ مَرِيضاً فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَقُومَ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ خَادِمٌ فِينَا لَهُ، فَأَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى هَذِهِ الآيَةَ «١» .
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنَ الغائط
٥٣٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا شِبْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَوْلَهُ: أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ وَالْغَائِطُ: الْوَادِي.

٥٣٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: أَوْ لامَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ قَالَ: الْجِمَاعُ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ عَلِيٍّ، وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَطَاوُسٍ وَالْحَسَنِ وَعُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ وَالشَّعْبِيِّ وَقَتَادَةَ وَمُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٥٣٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَنْبَسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: اللَّمْسُ: مَا دُونَ الْجِمَاعِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَعُبَيْدَةَ وَأَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ وَأَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ وَالشَّعْبِيِّ وَثَابِتِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ وَزَيْدِ بن أسلم نحو ذلك.
