humility, and he has nine wives, and his concern is nothing but marriage. What king is better than this?!' So Allah the Exalted said: 'Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them of His bounty?' Similar to this was narrated from 'Atiyyah, al-Dahhak, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, and al-Suddi.
5471 - My father mentioned to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Shabib, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was given seventy-something youths, so the Jews envied him. Then Allah the Exalted said: 'Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them of His bounty?'"
His saying, the Exalted: "For We had already given the family of Abraham"
5472 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "For We had already given the family of Abraham, and Solomon, and David the Book and Wisdom."
His saying, the Exalted: "The Book"

5473 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-'Ala' narrated to us, Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Matar ibn Maymun, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "The Book," he said: "The writing, the pen."
5474 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn al-Azraq narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb narrated to us, he said: 'Uthman ibn 'Ata' asked 'Ata' regarding the saying of Allah: "The Book and Wisdom." He said: "The Book: the writing." It was also narrated from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir and Muqatil ibn Hayyan similarly.
And the Second Aspect:
5475 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from al-Hudhali, from al-Hasan, regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: "The Book," he said: "The Quran." It was also narrated from Abu Malik similarly.

5476 - Abu Sa'id ibn al-Ashajj narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hudhali narrated to us, from al-Hasan, regarding His saying: "The Book and Wisdom," he said: "Wisdom: the Sunnah." It was also narrated from Abu Malik, Qatadah, Muqatil ibn Hayyan, and Yahya ibn Abi Kathir similarly.
