The Third Aspect:
5573 - Sa'dan ibn Nasr narrated to us, Abu al-Nadr Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Hamzah ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from 'Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding "the straight path," who said: It is the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and his two companions after him. 'Asim said: We mentioned that to al-Hasan, and he said: Abu al-'Aliyah spoke the truth and offered good counsel.
The Fourth Aspect:
5574 - Yahya ibn 'Abdak al-Qazwini narrated to us, Khalid ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Makhzumi narrated to us, 'Umar—meaning Ibn Dharr—narrated to us, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "the straight path," who said: The Truth.
His saying, the Exalted: "And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger—those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor"
5575 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu 'Amir ibn Barrad narrated to us, Abu Dawud al-Hafari narrated to us, from Ya'qub al-Qummi, from Ja'far ibn Abi al-Mughirah, regarding His saying: "those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor," he said: The Prophets.
His saying, the Exalted: "of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions"
5576 - Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Ahmasi narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Sa'id ibn Ibrahim, from 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Aishah, who said: I used to hear that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would not die until he was given a choice between the world and the Hereafter. She said: A hoarseness affected him in his illness in which he died, and I heard him saying: "with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions," so I thought that he had been given the choice.
5577 - My father narrated to us, Yahya ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, Jarir informed us, from Mansur, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, regarding His saying: "those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets," he said: The Companions of Muhammad said: "O Messenger of Allah, it is not fitting for us to be separated from you, for if you were to proceed, you would be elevated above us and we would not see you." He said: Then Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, revealed: "And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger—those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions."

٥٥٧٣ - حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ثنا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ: الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ قَالَ: هُوَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَاحِبَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ، قَالَ عَاصِمٌ: فذكرناه ذَلِكَ لِلْحَسَنِ، فَقَالَ: صَدَقَ أَبُو الْعَالِيَةِ، وَنَصَحَ.

٥٥٧٤ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدَكَ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ- يَعْنِي ابْنَ ذَرٍّ- عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ قَالَ: الْحَقُّ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ
٥٥٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا أَبُو عَامِرِ بْنُ بَرَّادٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ عَنْ يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ قَوْلَهُ: أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ:
الأَنْبِيَاءُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقاً
٥٥٧٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الأَحْمَسِيُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ عن سفيان، عن سعيد بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَا يَمُوتُ حَتَّى يُخَيَّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ، قَالَتْ: وَأَصَابَتْهُ بُحَّةٌ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقاً فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ خُيِّرَ.
٥٥٧٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَنْبَأَ جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ قَالَ: قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نُفَارِقَكَ، فَإِنَّكَ لَوْ قَدِمْتَ لَرُفِعْتَ فَوْقَنَا وَلَمْ نَرَكَ قَالَ: فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَمِنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقاً.
