5592 - And by the same chain from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "But if a bounty from Allah comes to you," meaning: victory, spoils of war, and abundance in provision.
His saying, the Exalted: "he would surely say"
5593 - And by the same chain from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "he would surely say," the hypocrite, while being regretful for having lingered behind.
His saying, the Exalted: "as if"
5594 - And by the same chain from Muqatil, regarding "he would surely say, 'as if'," the hypocrite, 'Abd Allah ibn Ubayy, "there was no affection between you and him."
His saying, the Exalted: "there was no affection between you and him"
5595 - And by the same chain from Muqatil: "as if there was no affection between you and him," he says: As if he is not from the people of your religion in terms of affection; this is one of the cases of rearrangement (al-taqdim).
His saying, the Exalted: "Oh, I wish I had been with them"
5596 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' informed us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Oh, I wish I had been with them," he said: The saying of an envious person.
5597 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim informed us, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "Oh, I wish I had been with them," he said: The hypocrite is regretful for having lingered behind, he wishes: "Oh, I wish I had been with them."
His saying, the Exalted: "so that I might attain"
5598 - And by the same chain from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "so that I might attain," meaning: so that I might succeed/escape with the spoils.
His saying, the Exalted: "a great attainment"
5599 - And by the same chain from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "a great attainment," meaning: I take a share.
His saying, the Exalted: "So let them fight"
5600 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted: "So let them fight in the cause of Allah," meaning: let them fight the polytheists.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ
٥٥٩٢ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ: وَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي:
فَتْحاً وَغَنِيمَةً وَسَعَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَيَقُولَنَّ
٥٥٩٣ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلَهُ: لَيَقُولَنَّ الْمُنَافِقُ وَهُوَ نَادِمٌ فِي التَّخَلُّفِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: كَأَنْ
٥٥٩٤ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَنْ الْمُنَافِقُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ
٥٥٩٥ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ: كَأَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ يَقُولُ: كَأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِ دِينِكُمْ فِي الْمَوَدَّةِ، فَهَذَا مِنَ التَّقْدِيمِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ
٥٥٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلَهُ: يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ قَالَ: قَوْلُ حَاسِدٍ.
٥٥٩٧ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ: يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ قَالَ: الْمُنَافِقُ نَادِمٌ فِي التَّخَلُّفِ، يَتَمَنَّى يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَأَفُوزَ
٥٥٩٨ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَأَفُوزَ يَعْنِي: أَنْجُو بِالْغَنِيمَةِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَوْزاً
٥٥٩٩ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلَهُ: فَوْزاً آخِذٌ نَصِيباً.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلْيُقَاتِلْ
٥٦٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَلْيُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي يُقَاتِلُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.
