The man stood up, struggled with it, and cast it away. She said: "By Allah, no one shall kill it but me." She placed her finger upon it, crushed it, and the poison flew until it landed between her nail and her flesh. Her foot turned black, and she died. Allah, the Exalted, revealed to His Prophet when he was sent: "Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction."

His saying, the Exalted: "even if you should be within towers of lofty construction."

5641 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "even if you should be within towers of lofty construction," he said: Palaces in the sky. It was narrated from al-Rabi', al-Suddi, and Abu Malik similarly.

His saying, the Exalted: "lofty construction (mushayyadah)."

5642 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak regarding: "even if you should be within towers of lofty construction," he said: Fortified. It was narrated from Abu Malik similarly.

5643 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "even if you should be within towers of lofty construction," and they are white, built-up palaces in the lowest heaven.

His saying, the Exalted: "But if good comes to them, they say, 'This is from Allah.'"

5645 - Muhammad ibn 'Ammar narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Sa'd al-Dashtaki narrated to us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi narrated to us, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "But if good comes to them, they say, 'This is from Allah,'" he said: This is regarding prosperity.

5646 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, al-Haytham—meaning Ibn al-Yaman—narrated to us, al-Hakam narrated to us, al-Suddi narrated to me regarding His saying: "If good comes to them," he said: And the "good" is fertility; their horses, livestock, and cattle multiply, their condition improves, and their women give birth to boys. They say: "This is from Allah."
