that day, seventy [were killed], among them four from the Emigrants (Muhajirun): Hamza ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib, Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr (brother of the Banu 'Abd al-Dar), al-Shamma' ibn 'Uthman al-Makhzumi, and 'Abd Allah ibn Jahsh al-Asadi; the rest of them were from the Helpers (Ansar).

A woman from the Ansar said: "Who are these?" They said: "Such and such, her brother and her husband, or her husband and her son." She said: "What has become of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?" They said: "He is alive." She said: "Then I do not care."
