3845 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, regarding His saying: "In it are clear signs," he said: Mujahid used to say: "The trace of his two feet in the Maqam (Station) is a clear sign." Abu Muhammad said: The like of this has been narrated from al-Hasan, 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, Qatadah, al-Suddi, and Muqatil.

His saying, the Exalted: "The Station of Ibrahim"

[The First Aspect]

3846 - Muhammad ibn 'Ubadah ibn al-Bakhtari narrated to us, Ishaq narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from al-Hajjaj ibn Arta'ah, from Mus'ab ibn Shaybah, from al-Mughirah ibn Khalid who said: I heard 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar saying: "The Station is a jacinth from the jacinths of Paradise; its light has been erased. Were it not for that, it would have illuminated what is between the heavens and the earth, and the Corner (al-Rukn) is like that."

3847 - My father narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Musa narrated to us, Hisham ibn Yusuf informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah informed me, from Ibn 'Abbas who said: "'In it are clear signs,' the clear sign which He mentioned here is this Station of his which is in the mosque, and the Station of Ibrahim is considered to be the entirety of his great Station, the entire Hajj."

[The Second Aspect]

3848 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj and 'Amr al-Awdi both narrated to us, they said: Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "The Station of Ibrahim," he said: "The Station of Ibrahim: the entire Haram." The chain of transmission is for al-Ashajj, and in the narration of 'Amr: "The entire Hajj is the Station of Ibrahim." Abu Muhammad said: The like of this has been narrated from Mujahid.

[The Third Aspect]

3849 - My father narrated to us, Qabisah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muslim, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding "the Station of Ibrahim," he said: "The Hajj is the Station of Ibrahim."

His saying, the Exalted: "And whoever enters it is safe."

[The First Aspect]

3850 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Yahya al-Taymi narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, meaning His saying: "And whoever enters it is safe," he said: "Whoever seeks refuge in the House, the House grants him refuge, but he shall not be harmed, nor shall he be fed, nor given to drink, nor allowed to stay. If he leaves, he is taken for his sin." He said: The like of this has been narrated from al-Hasan.

٣٨٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ قَوْلُهُ:

فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَات قَالَ: كَانَ مُجَاهِدٌ «١» يَقُولُ: أَثَرَ قَدَمَيْهِ فِي الْمَقَامِ آيَةٌ بَيِّنَةٌ. قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، وَقَتَادَةَ، وَالسُّدِّيِّ، وَمُقَاتِلٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٣٨٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَأَةَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَةٌ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ مُحِيَ نُورُهُ، لَوْلا ذَلِكَ لأَضَاءَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ، وَالرُّكْنُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.

٣٨٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنْبَأَ هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَرِيحٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: فِيهِ آيَةٌ بَيِّنَةٌ الآيَةُ الْبَيِّنَةُ الَّتِي ذَكَرَهَا هُنَا فَمَقَامهُ هَذَا الَّذِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَمَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يُعَدُّ كَبِيرَ مَقَامِهِ الْحَجُّ كُلُّهُ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:

٣٨٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ وَعَمْرُو الأَوْدِيُّ قَالا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ: الْحَرَمُ كُلُّه وَالسِّيَاقُ لِلأَشَجِّ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَمْرٍوَ: الْحَجُّ كُلُّهُ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيم، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:

٣٨٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيم قَالَ: الْحَجُّ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيم.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِناً
