His saying (the Exalted): "And why should we not believe in Allah and what has come to us of the truth? And we hope that our Lord will admit us with the righteous people."
[6683] Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, he said: I heard ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd saying regarding the saying of Allah: "And why should we not believe in Allah and what has come to us of the truth? And we hope that our Lord will admit us with the righteous people," he said: The righteous people are the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and his companions.
His saying (the Exalted): "So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens beneath which rivers flow."
[6684] Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki‘ narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from ‘Abd Allah ibn Murrah, from Masruq, he said: ‘Abd Allah said: The rivers of Paradise gush forth from a mountain of musk.
[6685] Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa al-Ansari narrated to us, Harun ibn Hatim narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik, [regarding] "beneath which rivers flow," he means: the dwellings, with their rivers flowing beneath them.
His saying (the Exalted): "Abiding eternally therein."
[6686] Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq said, Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr or ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, [regarding] "Abiding eternally therein," [he said]: He informs them that the reward is established for its people forever, with no cessation for it.
His saying (the Exalted): "O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you."
[The First Aspect]
[6687] Ahmad ibn ‘Ata’ al-Ansari narrated to us, Abu ‘Asim al-Dahhak ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from ‘Uthman ibn Sa‘id, ‘Ikrimah informed me, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that a man came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: O Messenger of Allah, whenever I eat this meat, I feel aroused for women, so I have prohibited meat for myself. Thus, "O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you" was revealed.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا ربنا مع القوم الصَّالِحِينَ
٦٦٨٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ قَالَ: الْقَوْمُ الصَّالِحُونَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَأَثَابَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ
٦٦٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ تَفَجَّرُ مِنْ جَبَلِ مِسْكٍ.
٦٦٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ يَعْنِي: الْمَسَاكِنُ تَجْرِي أَسْفَلَهَا أَنْهَارُهَا.

٦٦٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَوْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا يُخْبِرُهُمْ أَنَّ الثَّوَابَ مُقِيمٌ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ أَبَدًا لَا انْقِطَاعَ لَهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ

٦٦٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلا أَتَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي إِذَا أَكَلْتُ مِنْ هَذَا اللَّحْمِ انْتَشَرْتُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ عَلَيَّ اللَّحْمَ، فَنَزَلَتْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ
