al-Yaqzan, from Anas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then the Lord (Blessed and Exalted) will reveal Himself to them and say: 'Ask Me, ask Me, I will give you.'" He said: "They will ask Him for pleasure. He will say: 'My pleasure has caused you to dwell in My abode, and I have granted you My nobility, so ask Me, I will give you.' So they will ask Him for pleasure." He said: "And He will bear witness to them that He is pleased with them."

His saying (the Exalted): "To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent."

7072 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr Junayj narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq: "And He is over all things competent" means that Allah is competent over everything He intends for His servants, whether it be retribution or forgiveness.
