7478 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim Duhaym narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Namir, who said: I asked al-Zuhri about the saying of Allah: "Establish prayer." Al-Zuhri said: Establishing it means that you perform the five daily prayers at their [appointed] times. Similar to this was narrated from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah and Qatada.

7479 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, who said: His saying to the People of the Scripture: "Establish prayer," He commanded them to pray with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

His saying: "And fear Him."

7480 - Abu Zur'a narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'a narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And fear Him," meaning: Do not disobey Him.

His saying: "And it is He to whom you will be gathered."

7481 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hanzala al-Qass, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: Everything will be gathered, to the extent that even the fly will be gathered.

His saying: "And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in truth. And the day He says, 'Be,' and it is."

7482 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd al-'Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my paternal uncle narrated to me, my father narrated to me, from 'Atiyya, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And the day He says, 'Be,' and it is," [and] His saying: "The Truth," he said: It is that He created the human.
