His saying: "And they are constant in their prayers"
7621 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Hafs narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq: "Constant in their prayers," he said: Concerning the prayer times.
7622 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi narrated to us, Yazid narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah: Regarding his saying: "Constant in their prayers," meaning: regarding their ablution, their times, their bowing, and their prostrations.
His saying: "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah"
7623 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Mis'ar ibn 'Abd al-Malik ibn Sil' narrated to us, from 'Isa ibn 'Umar, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, he said: 'Abdullah said: There is no part of this Qur'an but that those who were before you have acted upon it, and those after you will act upon it, until I would pass by this verse: "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me, while nothing has been revealed to him." The people of this Qiblah did not act upon this until it reached al-Mukhtar ibn Abi 'Ubayd.
7624 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Nufayl al-Harrani narrated to us, Miskin ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Ma'an [from] Rifa'ah, he said: I heard Abu Khalaf al-A'ma say: Ibn Abi Sarh used to write the revelation for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He came to the people of Makkah, and they said: O Ibn Abi Sarh, how did you write the Qur'an for the son of Abi Kabshah? He said: I used to write whatever I wished. So Allah, the Almighty, revealed: "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah."
His saying: "Or says: It has been revealed to me, while nothing has been revealed to him"

7625 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding his saying: "Or says: It has been revealed to me, while nothing has been revealed to him," he said: It was revealed concerning Musaylimah.
And Shayban narrated it from Qatadah: It was revealed concerning Musaylimah and al-Aswad al-'Ansi.

7626 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: Regarding his saying: "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me, while nothing has been revealed to him."

قَوْلُهُ: وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
٧٦٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا حَفْصٌ عَنْ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَلَى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ قَالَ: عَلَى مَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلاةِ.
٧٦٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: قَوْلُهُ: عَلَى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ أَيْ عَلَى وُضُوئِهَا وَمَوَاقِيتِهَا وَرُكُوعِهَا وَسُجُودِهَا.
قَوْلُهُ: وَمَنْ أَظْلَمَ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا
٧٦٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ثنا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَلْعٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: مَا مِنْ هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ شَيْءٌ إِلا قَدْ عَمِلَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَسَيَعْمَلُ بِهِ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ حَتَّى كُنْتُ لأَمُرُّ بِهَذِهِ الآيَةِ: وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ: وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْ هَذَا أَهْلُ هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةِ حَتَّى كَانَ الْمُخْتَارُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ.
٧٦٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ نُفَيْلٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا مِسْكِينُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ معان رِفَاعَةَ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا خَلَفٍ الأَعْمَى قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ أَبِي سَرْحٍ يَكْتُبُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الْوَحْيَ، فَأَتَى أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالُوا: يَا ابْنَ أَبِي السَّرْحِ، كَيْفَ كَتَبْتَ لابْنِ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْقُرْآنَ؟
قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ كَيْفَ شِئْتُ. فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا.
قَوْلُهُ: أَوْ قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء

٧٦٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ «١» ثنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ:
أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي مُسَيْلِمَةَ.
وَرَوَاهُ شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي مُسَيْلِمَةَ وَالأَسْوَدِ الْعَنْسِيِّ.
