7663 - My father narrated to us, 'Isa ibn Ja'far, the judge of al-Rayy, narrated to us, Muslim ibn Khalid narrated to us from Ibn Abi Najih from Mujahid regarding His saying: "He brings the living out of the dead and is the bringer of the dead out of the living," he said: People who are alive come from drops of fluid, and the drop of fluid is dead and comes out from people who are alive, and it is the same for livestock and plants.

7664 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us from Sufyan from al-Sudi from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "...and is the bringer of the dead out of the living," he said: The date stone from the palm tree, and the grain from the ear of corn.

7665 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Tumaylah narrated to us, Abu al-Munib narrated to us from 'Ikrimah regarding His saying: "...and is the bringer of the dead out of the living," he said: The egg comes out from the living, and it is dead.

His saying: "That is Allah; so how are you deluded?"

7666 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah narrated to us from Abu Rawq from al-Dahhak from Ibn 'Abbas: "so how (anna) are you deluded," he said: How.

7667 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us from Ma'mar from al-Hasan regarding "so how are you deluded (tuf'akun)," he said: How are you turned away.

7669 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my paternal uncle narrated to me from his father from 'Atiyyah from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "the Cleaver of the daybreak (al-isbah)," he says: The Creator.
