His saying, the Almighty: "Whoever desires the reward of this world, then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter."
[6074] Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr Zubayj narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, and Muhammad ibn Ishaq said regarding His saying: "Whoever desires the reward of this world," meaning: whoever among you desires the world, having no longing for the Hereafter, We shall give him what has been allotted to him in it of provision, and he shall have no share in the Hereafter.
His saying, the Almighty: "And ever is Allah Hearing, Seeing."
[6075] And by the same chain, Salamah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us: "Hearing," meaning: He hears what you say.
[6076] Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Khayr, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he was reciting this verse, "Hearing, Seeing," and he would say: "He is Seeing of all things."
His saying, the Almighty: "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice."
[6077] My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding his saying: "Be persistently standing firm in justice," Allah commanded the believers to speak the truth, even if it be against themselves, their parents, or their children.
[6078] Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah," he said: It was revealed concerning the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
[6079] Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses," meaning: standing firm in justice. The same has been narrated from al-Suddi.
[6080] I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim Abu Wahb narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: "Be persistently standing firm in justice," he said: standing firm with the testimony.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدنيا والآخرة
٦٠٧٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو زُنَيْجٌ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ محمد ابن إِسْحَاقَ قَوْلَهُ: مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا أَيْ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا لَيْسَتْ لَهُ رَغْبَةٌ فِي الآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مَا قُسِمَ لَهُ فِيهَا مِنْ رِزْقٍ، وَلا حَظَّ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا

وَبِهِ ثنا سَلَمَةُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ سَمِيعًا أَيْ سَمِيعٌ مَا تَقُولُونَ
٦٠٧٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا يَقُولُ: بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ.
٦٠٧٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْ يَقُولُوا الْحَقَّ، وَلَوْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَوْ آبَائِهِمْ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِمْ.
٦٠٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
٦٠٧٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَوْلَهُ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ يَعْنِي: قَوَّامِينَ بِالْعَدْلِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
٦٠٨٠ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُوسَى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ ابن مُزَاحِمٍ أَبُو وَهْبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ:
كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ قَالَ: قَوَّامِينَ بِالشَّهَادَةِ.
