If he killed him for [the sake of] a creation from among the creation of Allah, he will say: 'I killed him so that the word of so-and-so might be supreme.' It will be said: 'Then it is not for him.' So every creature of Allah will be killed by him on that day [in retaliation for] whom he killed unjustly, except that he will be made to taste death for the number of days that he made the other [victim] taste [it] in the world.
His saying, the Almighty: "And never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to victory]."
[6135] My father narrated to us, Mu'adh ibn Asad al-Marwazi narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Musa narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Dharr, from Yusay': He said: A man came to 'Ali and said: "Have you seen the saying of Allah the Almighty: 'And never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way?' He said: 'The disbeliever kills the believer, and the believer kills the disbeliever.' 'Ali said: 'And never will Allah give the disbelievers, on the Day of Resurrection, a way over the believers.'"
It was narrated from Abu Malik and 'Ata' al-Khurasani similar to that.
His saying, the Almighty: "A way."
[6136] Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "A way," he said: "An argument."
His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them."
[6137] And by the same chain, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Indeed, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them." He said: "He will give them on the Day of Resurrection a light by which they will walk along with the Muslims, just as they were with them in the world. Then He will snatch that light from them and extinguish it, so they will stand in their darkness, and a wall will be placed between them."
[6138] Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Husayn informed us, from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "Indeed, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them." He said: "The believer will be given a light on the Day of Resurrection, and the hypocrite will be given a light, and they will walk by it until they reach the Sirat (the bridge). When they reach the Sirat, the believers will proceed with their light, and the light of the hypocrites will be extinguished. They will call out to them: 'Were we not with you?' They will say: 'Yes, but you tempted yourselves, awaited [misfortune], doubted, and were deluded by false hopes until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver [Satan] deceived you concerning Allah.'" Al-Hasan said: "That is Allah's deception of them."
His saying, the Almighty: "And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily."
