from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah the Almighty: "Allah makes clear to you, lest you go astray," he says: "[It means] that you should not disregard the distribution of the inheritance."

[6343] I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn ‘Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim informed us, from Bukayr ibn Ma’ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "Allah makes clear to you, lest you go astray," he says: "That you should safeguard the distribution of the inheritance, for this is the misguidance in which the brothers are considered ‘asabah (residuary heirs) when there is no offspring, so they inherit with the grandfather in the case of the kalalah."

[6344] It was read to Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-A’la, ‘Abd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Malik said: "'Allah makes clear to you, lest you go astray,' for this is the misguidance in which the brothers are considered ‘asabah (residuary heirs) when there is no offspring, so they inherit with the grandfather in the case of the kalalah."

His saying, the Almighty: "And Allah is All-Knowing of everything."

[6345] Abu Zur’ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah narrated to us, ‘Abd Allah ibn Lahi’ah narrated to me, ‘Ata’ ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah the Almighty: "And Allah is All-Knowing of everything," meaning: He is knowing of the distribution of the inheritance and other matters.
