[6424] Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "A small price"—he says: Do not take a small bribe and conceal the name of Allah, for that is the greed, and it is the price.
His saying, the Almighty: "A small [price]"
[6425] 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Hamzah al-Marwazi narrated to us, 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Jabir, from Harun ibn Yazid, who said: Al-Hasan was asked about His saying: "A small price"—he said: The small price is the world in its entirety.
His saying, the Almighty: "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed"
[6426] My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed"—he says: Whoever denies the judgment of what Allah has revealed has disbelieved (kafar), and whoever affirms it but does not judge by it is an oppressor (zalim) and a transgressor (fasiq). He says: Whoever denies anything of the limits (hudud) of Allah has disbelieved.
[6427] Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed"—he said: Whoever does not judge by what I have revealed, and abandons it deliberately and willfully while knowing, then he is among the disbelievers.
[6428] Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, who says regarding His saying: "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, then those are the disbelievers"—he said: Whoever judges by his own book which he wrote with his own hand and abandons the Book of Allah, and claims that this book of his is from Allah, has disbelieved.

It was narrated from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abbas, 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah, al-Hasan, Abu Raja', and Abu Mijlaz similarly, except that al-Hasan added: "And it is obligatory upon us."
[6429] I read to Muhammad, Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad narrated to us, from Bukayr, from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "Then those are the disbelievers"—he said: The people of Qurayzah; among them is Abu Lubabah ibn Sa'afah ibn 'Amr, from the people of al-Nadir; among them are Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf and Malik ibn al-Sayf.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا
٦٤٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا يقول: لا تَأْخُذُوا طعما قَلِيلا وَتَكْتُمُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فَذَلِكَ الطَّمَعُ وَهُوَ الثَّمَنُ.

٦٤٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بن يزيد عن جَابِرٍ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ الْحَسَنُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا قَالَ: الثَّمَنُ الْقَلِيلُ: الدُّنْيَا بِحَذَافِيرِهَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ
٦٤٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بما أنزل الله يَقُولُ: مَنْ جَحَدَ الْحُكْمَ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ، وَمَنْ أَقَرَّ بِهِ وَلَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِهِ فَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ فَاسِقٌ. يَقُولُ: مَنْ جَحَدَ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا فَقَدْ كَفَرَ.
٦٤٢٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلْتُ فَتَرَكَهُ عَمْدًا وَجَادًّا وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ فهو من الكافرون.
٦٤٢٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يزَيْدٍ الْقَرَاطِيسُِّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ قَالَ: مَنْ حَكَمَ بِكِتَابِهِ الَّذِي كَتَبَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَتَرَكَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ كِتَابَهُ هَذَا من عند الله قد كفر.

الْيَهُودُ.
وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وعبيد اله بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَسَنِ وَأَبِي رَجَاءٍ وَأَبِي مِجْلَزٍ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ زَادَ فِيهِ وَهِيَ عَلَيْنَا وَاجِبَةٌ.
