al-'Anqazi told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi, from Murrah, from 'Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "With poverty [al-ba'sa']," he said: Al-ba'sa' is poverty. It was also narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, Abu al-'Aliyah, al-Hasan in one of his two opinions, Murrah al-Hamdani, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Mujahid, al-Dahhak, al-Rabi' ibn Anas, al-Suddi, and Muqatil ibn Hayyan something similar.

8742 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad told us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashshar told us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah told me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur, from al-Hasan regarding al-ba'sa': He said: Affliction [al-bala'].

8743 - It was mentioned from al-Muttalib ibn Ziyad, from Salim al-Aftas, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr [regarding]: "And We seized them with poverty [al-ba'sa']," he said: Fear of the authority.

8744 - Abu Sa'id Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan told us, 'Amr ibn Muhammad al-'Anqazi told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi, from Murrah, from 'Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud regarding His saying: "And hardship [al-darra']," he said: Al-darra' is illness. It was also narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, Abu al-'Aliyah, Murrah al-Hamdani, Abu Malik, al-Dahhak, al-Hasan, Mujahid, al-Suddi, al-Rabi' ibn Anas, and Muqatil ibn Hayyan something similar.

8745 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar told me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And hardship [al-darra']," meaning: the time of affliction and severity.

8746 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad told us, Ibrahim ibn Bashshar told us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah told me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur, from al-Hasan [regarding]: "And hardship [al-darra']," he said: These are illnesses, hunger, and similar to that.

٨٧٤٣ - ذُكِرَ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ الأَفْطَسُ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْبَأْسَاءِ قَالَ: خَوْفًا مِنَ السُّلْطَانِ.

٨٧٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُرُورُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ قَالَ: هَذِهِ الْأَمْرَاضُ وَالْجُوَعُ وَنَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
