His saying, the Almighty: "And he drew out his hand."

8796 - 'Ammar ibn Khalid al-Wasiti told us, Yazid ibn Harun told us, from Asbagh ibn Zayd, from al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub, Sa'id ibn Jubayr told me, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And he drew out his hand," he said: He brought his hand out from his garment.

His saying, the Almighty: "And behold, it was white to the beholders."

8796 - 'Ammar ibn Khalid told us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan and Yazid ibn Harun told us, from Asbagh ibn Zayd, from al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub, Sa'id ibn Jubayr told me, from Ibn 'Abbas, his saying: "And behold, it was white to the beholders," he said: He brought his hand out from his garment and saw it white without illness, meaning by it the brightness. Then he returned it to his sleeve and it reverted to its original color.

His saying, the Almighty: "The eminent among the people of Pharaoh said, 'Indeed, this is a learned magician.'"

8797 - And with the same chain, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: He consulted the eminent ones regarding what he saw, and they said: "These two are magicians who want to drive you out of your land."

His saying, the Almighty: "He wants to drive you out of your land, so what do you command?"

8798 - Abu Zur'ah told us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "He wants to drive you out of your land," he said: He wants to extract you from your land.

His saying, the Almighty: "They said, 'Postpone him and his brother.'"

8790 - My father told us, Ibrahim ibn Musa told us, Hisham informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Postpone him," he says: Delay him and his brother.

8791 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi told us, Yazid ibn Zuray' told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Postpone him and his brother," he said: Detain him and his brother.
