the nation of Ahmad.” He said: “O Lord, I find in the tablets a nation whose gospels are in their hearts, and they used to recite [the scripture] by looking [at it], so make them my nation.” He replied: “That is the nation of Ahmad.” He said: “O Lord, I find in the tablets a nation who consume their alms within their own bellies, yet they are rewarded for them, so make them my nation.” He replied: “That is the nation of Ahmad.” He added: “Indeed, those before us would offer their alms; if it was accepted from them, fire would come and consume it, and if it was not accepted from them, beasts would come and eat it.” He said: “O Lord, I find in the tablets a nation who are the forerunners, the ones interceded for, so make them my nation.” He replied: “That is the nation of Ahmad.” He said: “O Lord, I find in the tablets a nation who fight the people of misguidance until they kill the Antichrist (al-Masih al-Dajjal), so make them my nation.” He replied: “That is the nation of Ahmad.” He said: Then Moses cast down the tablets and said: “O Lord, make me from the nation of Muhammad.” It is said: Then the Prophet of Allah was pleased, and it was increased: “And from the people of Moses is a nation who guide by the truth and by it they judge.”

His saying the Exalted: “And a detailed explanation”

His saying the Exalted: “So take them with strength”
