9004 - Ahmad ibn Mansur al-Ramadi told us, 'Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ayyub who said: When Abu Qilabah used to read this verse: "Indeed, those who took the calf, wrath from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world will overtake them," Abu Qilabah said: "It is the recompense for every fabricator until the Day of Resurrection, that Allah will humiliate him."

9006 - al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah told us, 'Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Thabit informed us that Qays ibn 'Abbad and Jariyah ibn Qudamah said: "We heard Allah saying in His Book: 'Indeed, those who took the calf, wrath from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world will overtake them. And thus do We recompense the fabricators.' And we see that the people have indeed fabricated a falsehood, and I do not see it but that it will befall them."

9007 - My father told us, Sulayman ibn Harb told us, Hammad ibn Zayd told us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah: "Indeed, those who took the calf, wrath from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world will overtake them. And thus do We recompense the fabricators," he said: "By Allah, it is for every fabricator who lied until the Day of Resurrection." And the like of it was narrated from Sa'id ibn Jubayr.

9008 - My father told us, Muhammad ibn Abi 'Umar al-'Adani told us, Sufyan said: "And thus do We recompense the fabricators," he said: "Every person of innovation is humiliated."
