His saying, the Almighty: "Just as your Lord brought you out of your house in truth"
8803 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding: "Just as your Lord brought you out of your house in truth," [it is] like that.
8804 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim informed us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "Just as your Lord brought you out of your house in truth," [he] said: The departure of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to Badr.
His saying, the Almighty: "And indeed, a party among the believers were surely averse"
8805 - Abu Sa'id ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to us, that Aslam Abu 'Imran narrated to him, [who] said: I heard Abu Ayyub al-Ansari say: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to us while we were in Medina, and it had reached him that the caravan of Abu Sufyan had approached, so he said: "What do you think about it? Perhaps Allah will grant it as booty to us and give us safety." So we went out and traveled for a day or two, then he said: "What do you think about them?" We said: O Messenger of Allah, we do not have the strength to fight the people; we only came out for the caravan. Al-Miqdad said: Do not say as the people of Moses said to Moses: "So go, you and your Lord, and fight, indeed we are staying right here." Then Allah, the Almighty, revealed: "Just as your Lord brought you out of your house in truth, and indeed, a party among the believers were surely averse."
8806 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim informed us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "And indeed, a party among the believers were surely averse" to seeking the polytheists.
His saying, the Almighty: "They argue with you concerning the truth after it has become manifest"
8807 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, [regarding] His saying: "They argue with you concerning the truth," [meaning] the fighting.
8808 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim informed us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "They argue with you concerning the truth after it has become manifest," [it means] that you do not perform anything except what Allah commanded you to do.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكِ بِالْحَقِّ
٨٨٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ثنا شَبَابَةُ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكِ بِالْحَقِّ كَذَلِكَ.
٨٨٠٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ- ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكِ بِالْحَقِّ قَالَ: خُرُوجُ النَّبِيِّ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- إِلَى بَدْرٍ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ
٨٨٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ أَسْلَمَ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ: قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّ غير أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَدْ أَقْبَلَتْ فَقَالَ: مَا تَرَوْنَ فِيهَا؟ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يَغْنِمْنَاهَا وَيُسْلِمْنَا، فَخَرَجْنَا فَسِرْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: مَا تَرَوْنَ فِيهِمْ؟ فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَا لَنَا طَاقَةٌ بِقِتَالِ الْقَوْمِ، إِنَّمَا خَرَجْنَا لِلْعِيرِ، قَالَ الْمِقْدَادُ: لَا تَقُولُوا كَمَا قَالَ قَوْمُ مُوسَى لِمُوسَى: فاذهب أنت وربك فقاتلا إنا هاهنا قَاعِدُونَ «٢» فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكِ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ
٨٨٠٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا أَسْبَاطُ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لكارهون لِطَلَبِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ
٨٨٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ثنا شَبَابَةُ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «٣»
قَوْلُهُ: يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ الْقِتَالِ.
٨٨٠٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ- ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ إِنَّكَ لَا تَصْنَعُ إِلا مَا أَمَرَكَ اللَّهُ به.
