The Fourth Aspect:
9110 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi reported to us—in what he wrote to me—Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "And others besides them whom you do not know," he said: The people of Persia.
The Fifth Aspect:
9111 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Abi 'Umar al-'Adani narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, regarding His saying: "And others besides them," he said: Ibn al-Yaman said: They are the devils that are in the houses.
His saying, the Almighty: "Whom you do not know, Allah knows them"
9112 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi reported to us—in what he wrote to me—Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, Ibn Zayd—that is, 'Abd al-Rahman—informed us, regarding the saying of Allah: "And others besides them whom you do not know, Allah knows them," he said: These are the hypocrites; you do not know them because they are with you, saying: 'There is no god but Allah,' and they fight alongside you.
His saying, the Almighty: "Allah knows them"
9113 - I read to Muhammad, Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad narrated to us, from Bukayr, from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "Allah knows them," he says: Allah knows what is in the hearts of the hypocrites of the hypocrisy that they conceal.
His saying, the Almighty: "And whatever you spend of anything in the way of Allah, it will be paid back to you"
9114 - Ahmad ibn al-Qasim ibn 'Atiyyah narrated to us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from his father, al-Ash'ath ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Ja'far, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), that he used to order that charity be given only to the people of Islam, until it was revealed: "And whatever you spend of anything in the way of Allah, it will be paid back to you." So after that, he ordered charity to be given to everyone who asks you from any faith.
His saying, the Almighty: "And you will not be wronged"
9115 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, regarding His saying: "And you will not be wronged," meaning: Its reward will not be lost for you with Allah in the Hereafter, nor will its immediate replacement in this world.

٩١١٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ- ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَهُمْ قَالَ:
أَهْلَ فَارِسٍ.
الْوَجْهُ الْخَامِسُ:
٩١١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ الْيَمَانِ: هُمُ الشَّيَاطِينُ الَّتِي فِي الدُّورِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ
٩١١٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ- ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَآخَرِينَ من دونهم لا تعلمونهم اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ قَالَ: هَؤُلاءِ الْمُنَافِقُونِ، لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمْ، لأَنَّهُمْ مَعَكُمْ يَقُولُونَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ، وَيَغْزُونَ مَعَكُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ
٩١١٣ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلُهُ: اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ الَّذِي يُسِرُّونَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ
٩١١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّشْتَكِيُّ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْعَثُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِأَنْ لَا يُصَّدَّقَ إِلا عَلَى أَهْلِ الإِسْلامِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ فَأَمَرَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ بَعْدَهَا عَلَى كُلِّ مَنْ سَأَلَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَيْنٍ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ
٩١١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَوْلُهُ: وَأَنْتُمْ لا تُظْلَمُونَ أَيْ لَا يَضِيعُ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَجْرُهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَعَاجِلَ خَلَفِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا.
