Translation · EN

His saying: "Then he shall not be recompensed except with the like of it, and they shall not be wronged."

8172 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-‘Abbas ibn al-Walid told us, Yazid ibn Zuray‘ told us, Sa‘id told us from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Then he shall not be recompensed except with the like of it," he said: "It was mentioned to us that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to say: 'When a servant intends a good deed and does not do it, it is written for him as a good deed; and when he intends an evil deed and then does it, it is written for him as one evil deed.'"

8173 - Abu Sa‘id ibn Yahya ibn Sa‘id al-Qattan told us, Abu Nu‘aym told us, Yahya ibn Ayyub al-Bajali told us, he said: I heard Abu Zur‘ah saying: al-Ma‘rur ibn Suwayd told us from Abu Dharr who said: "Allah says to the servant on the Day of Resurrection: 'O My servant, if you bring me a good deed, I shall recompense you with ten like it, and if you bring me an evil deed, I shall recompense you with one evil deed like it, or I shall forgive.'"

His saying: "And they shall not be wronged."

8174 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, told us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr Junayj told us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl told us from Muhammad ibn Ishaq: "And they shall not be wronged," meaning: "Nothing of theirs shall be lost in the sight of Allah."

His saying, the Almighty: "Say: Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path."

Its explanation has preceded.

His saying, the Almighty: "A religion correct, the creed of Abraham, inclining to truth, and he was not of the polytheists."

8175 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "Hanifan (inclining to truth)," he said: "Performing Hajj." The same was narrated from al-Hasan, al-Dahhak, ‘Atiyyah, and al-Suddi.

8176 - My father told us, Qabisah and ‘Isa ibn Ja‘far told us, they said: Sufyan told us from Ibn Abi Najih from Mujahid: "Hanifan," he said: "Following (the truth)." The same was narrated from al-Rabi‘ ibn Anas.

8177 - My father told us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Hakam told us, ‘Uthman ibn Salih told us, ‘Abd Allah ibn Lahi‘ah told us from Abu Sakhr from Muhammad ibn Ka‘b: "Hanifan," he said: "The Hanif is the upright one."

قَوْلُهُ: فَلا يُجْزَى إِلا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لَا يظلمون.

٨١٧٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: قَوْلُهُ: فَلا يُجْزَى إِلا مِثْلَهَا، قَالَ: ذَكَرَ لَنَا أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا هَمَّ الْعَبْدُ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ، وَإِذَا هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ ثُمَّ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ سَيِّئَةٌ «١» .

٨١٧٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَجَلِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ يَقُولُ: ثنا الْمَعْرُورُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ: يَقُولُ اللَّهُ لِلْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ: أَيُّهَا الْعَبْدُ إِنْ تَأْتِنِي بِالْحَسَنَةِ أَجْزِكَ بِهَا عَشْرًا، وَإِنْ تَأْتِنِي بِالسَّيِّئَةِ أَجْزِكَ سَيِّئَةً مِثْلَهَا أَوْ أَغْفِرُ «٢» .

قَوْلُهُ: وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ.

٨١٧٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو زُنَيْجٌ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ: وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ أَيْ: لَا يَضِيعُ لَهُمْ شَيْءٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

تَقَدَّمَ تَفْسِيرُهُ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: دِينًا قِيَمًا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.

٨١٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عن ابن عباس: قَوْلُهُ: حَنِيفًا، قَالَ: حَاجًّا وَرُوِيَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ وَالضَّحَّاكِ وَعَطِيَّةَ وَالسُّدِّيِّ، نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٨١٧٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا قَبِيصَةُ وَعِيسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: حَنِيفًا، قَالَ: مُتَّبِعًا وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٨١٧٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ: حنيفا، قال: الحنيف المستقيم.
