[The fourth interpretation]
8349 - Muhammad ibn ‘Ammar told us, al-Walid ibn Salih told us, Sharik told us, from Layth, from Mujahid, regarding "He stripped from them their clothing," he said: Piety (al-taqwa).
His saying, the Almighty: "That He might show them their private parts."
8350 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ashkab told us, ‘Ali ibn ‘Asim told us, from Sa‘id ibn Abi ‘Arubah, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Ubayy ibn Ka‘b, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Verily, Allah the Almighty created Adam, and when he tasted of the tree, his clothing fell from him. The first thing that appeared of him was his private part; so when he looked at his private part, he began to run through the Garden."
His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them."
8351 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa’ told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "He and his tribe," he said: The jinn and the devils.
8352 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi reported to us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, he said: I heard ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying regarding His saying: "Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe," he said: And his tribe: his offspring.
8353 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi reported to us in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi told us, Shayban told us, from Qatadah: Regarding His saying: "Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them," he said: By Allah, the enemy of Allah sees you from where you do not see him, and he is of great burden, except for those whom Allah protects.

8354 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas told us, Zunayj told us, Salamah told us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: "And when they commit an indecency," meaning: If they perform an indecency.
8355 - Abu Zur‘ah al-Dimashqi told us, Muhammad ibn Bakkar told us, Sa‘id ibn Bashir told us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from ‘Imran ibn al-Husayn: That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
(1). Al-Hakim 2/262 said: This is a hadith with a sahih (authentic) chain of transmission, and they (al-Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. (2). Al-Tafsir 1/234.
