8433 - Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa told us, Harun ibn Hatim told us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad told us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik: regarding His saying: "Those are the companions of the Fire"—they are the companions of the Fire, being punished therein.

His saying, the Almighty: "They will abide therein eternally"

8434 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl told us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said: Regarding what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad told me, from ‘Ikrimah or Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbas: "They will abide therein eternally"—meaning, eternally forever, with no cessation to it.

8435 - Abu Zur‘ah told us, Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr told us, Ibn Lahi‘ah told us, ‘Ata’ ibn Dinar told me, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr: regarding the saying of Allah: "They will abide therein eternally"—meaning, they will not die.

His saying, the Almighty: "So who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah"

8436 - Abu ‘Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Hammad al-Tahrani told us, Hafs ibn ‘Umar al-‘Adani informed us, al-Hakam ibn Aban told us, from ‘Ikrimah, who said: Al-Nadr, who was from the tribe of ‘Abd al-Dar, said: "When the Day of Resurrection comes, al-Lat will intercede for me." Then Allah, the Almighty, revealed: "So who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or denies His verses."

His saying, the Almighty: "Those will attain their portion from the Book"

8437 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashaj told us, Ibn Numayr told us, al-Hasan ibn ‘Amr al-Fuqaymi told us, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid: "Those will attain their portion from the Book"—he said: What has preceded in the Book.
