His saying, the Almighty: "And we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us."
8476 - My father told us, Malik ibn Isma'il reported to us, Isra'il informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Asim ibn Damrah, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The angels will meet them at the gates of Paradise: "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally." And every boy will meet his master, circling him. The children will act toward the intimate friend who has come from his absence, saying: "Rejoice, for Allah has prepared for you of honor such-and-such." He then departs from his boys to his wives, the Hur al-'Ayn (fair maidens with large, beautiful eyes), and he says: "This is so-and-so," by his name in the world. They will say: "Have you seen him?" He will say: "Yes." Joy will lighten them until they exit to the threshold of the door. He arrives and suddenly finds cushions arranged, and cups placed, and carpets spread. Then he looks at the foundation of his building, and behold, it is built upon blocks of pearls—green, red, yellow, and white—and of every color. Then he lifts his gaze to its ceiling, and were it not that Allah decreed for him [to endure it], it would have nearly taken his sight. Then he looks at his wives, the Hur al-'Ayn, and he reclines upon one of his couches. Then he says: "Praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would not have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Our Lord's messengers had come with the truth," to the end of the verse.
His saying, the Almighty: "And it will be called to them, 'That is Paradise.'"
8477 - My father told us, 'Ubayd ibn Ya'ish told us, Yahya ibn Adam told us, from Hamzah al-Zayyat, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aghar Abu Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id, may Allah be pleased with them both, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), regarding: "And it will be called to them, 'That is Paradise,'" he said: It will be called to them: "Be healthy and never be sick, be blissful and never be miserable, remain young and never grow old, and live forever and never die."
His saying, the Almighty: "You are made to inherit it for what you used to do."
8478 - My father told us, Abu Ghassan al-Nahdi told us, Maslamah ibn Ja'far al-Bajali told us, he said: I heard Abu Mu'adh al-Basri say: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "By Him in whose hand is my soul, when they emerge from their graves, they will be met, or they will be brought, with white she-camels with wings, upon which are men of gold; the laces of their sandals are light that glitters. Every step of theirs is the distance of eyesight. They will end up at a tree from the root of which two springs gush forth; they will drink from one of them, and it will wash away what is in their bellies of filth, and they will bathe from the other, and their skin and hair will never grow disheveled or unkempt ever again, and the radiance of bliss will flow over them."
