8529 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed me in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "Are these the ones whom you swore would not be reached by Allah with mercy?" He said: These are the weak ones whom you swore [against].

His saying, the Almighty: "Enter Paradise."

8530 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah told us, Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah told us, from Ibn Abi Khalid, he said: I asked 'Ikrimah about His saying: "Are these the ones whom you swore would not be reached by Allah with mercy? Enter Paradise." 'Ikrimah said: They entered Paradise.

8531 - My father told us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far told us, from his father, from al-Rabi', regarding His saying: "Enter Paradise; no fear will be upon you, nor will you grieve," he said: They were the last of the people of Paradise to enter, according to what we have heard from the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

His saying, the Almighty: "No fear will be upon you."

Its interpretation has preceded.

His saying, the Almighty: "And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, 'Pour upon us some water.'"

8532 - My father told us, Abu Nu'aym told us, Sufyan told us, from 'Uthman ibn al-Mughirah al-Thaqafi, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, 'Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allah has provided you,'" he said: A man will call to his brother and say: "O my brother, I have burned, so aid me!" He will reply: "Indeed, Allah has forbidden them to the disbelievers."

8533 - My father told us, Nasr ibn 'Ali told us, Musa ibn al-Mughirah informed us, Abu Musa al-Sighar told us in the house of 'Amr ibn Muslim, he said: I asked Ibn 'Abbas—or he was asked—which charity is best? He said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The best charity is water. Have you not heard the people of the Fire when they sought aid from the people of Paradise? They said: 'Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allah has provided you.'"

His saying, the Almighty: "Or from whatever Allah has provided you."
