8553 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah told me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar told me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "guidance," he said: An explanation.
His saying, the Almighty: "And a mercy."
8554 - Al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Mazid al-Bayruni informed me by way of reading, Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb ibn Shabur informed me, Sa'id reported from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And a mercy," he said: The Qur'an. It was narrated from Abu al-'Aliyah similar to that.
His saying, the Almighty: "for a people who believe."
8555 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn told us, Muhammad ibn 'Isa told us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl told us, from Ibn Ishaq: "guidance and a mercy for a people who believe," meaning: forgiveness for what they have committed.
