10202 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas, the client of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ishaq regarding His saying: "those of wealth among them asked your permission," [they are] 'Abd Allah ibn Ubayy and al-Jadd ibn Qays.
His saying the Exalted: "And they said, 'Leave us to be with those who remain.'"
10203 - Musa ibn Abi Musa al-Khatmi narrated to us, Harun ibn Hatim narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "Leave [us]" meaning: "Forsake [us]."
His saying the Exalted: "They were pleased to be with those who stay behind."
10204 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "They were pleased to be with those who stay behind," he said: "The women." It was also narrated from al-Hasan, Mujahid, 'Ikrimah, Qatadah, Shimr ibn 'Atiyyah, Abu Malik, and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam similar to that.
10205 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali ibn Mihran narrated to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi: "They were pleased to be with those who stay behind," [means] they are the women. They were pleased to stay behind just as the women stayed behind.
His saying the Exalted: "And a seal has been set upon their hearts, so they do not understand."
10206 - Abu Badr 'Abbad ibn al-Walid al-Ghubari informed us in what he wrote to me, Jabir ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi regarding the saying of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic: "And a seal has been set upon their hearts," he said: "A seal has been placed upon their hearts."
10207 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And a seal has been set upon their hearts," i.e., due to their deeds, "so they do not understand."
His saying the Exalted: "But the Messenger and those who believed with him..." up to His saying: "...the successful."
10208 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr Zunayj informed us, Salamah narrated to us from Muhammad
١٠٢٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا سَلَمَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَوْلُهُ: استأذنك أولوا الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ وَالْجَدُّ ابن قَيْسٍ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَقَالُوا ذَرْنَا نَكُنْ مَعَ القاعدين
١٠٢٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى الْخَطْمِيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: ذر يَعْنِي:
خَلِّ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: رَضُوا بِأَنْ يَكُونُوا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ
١٠٢٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابٌ أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: رَضُوا بِأَنْ يَكُونُوا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ قَالَ: النِّسَاءُ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ وَقَتَادَةَ وَشِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ وَأَبِي مَالِكٍ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.
١٠٢٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ثنا عَامِرِ بْنِ الْفُرَاتِ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ رَضُوا بِأَنْ يَكُونُوا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ: وَهُمُ النِّسَاءُ. رَضُوا بِأَنْ يَقْعُدُوا كَمَا قَعَدْتِ النِّسَاءُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لا يَفْقَهُونَ.
١٠٢٠٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْغُبَرِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ- عَزَّ وَجَلَّ-: وَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالَ: خُتِمَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ.
١٠٢٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ أَنْبَأَ سَعِيدُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَيْ: بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ فَهُمْ لا يَفْقَهُونَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: المفلحون.
