10088 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Then it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell," meaning: Its foundations are in the fire of Hell.
His saying, the Almighty: "And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
10089 - My father narrated to us, al-Mu'alla ibn Asad narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn al-Mukhtar narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah al-Danaj, from Talq ibn Habib, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, he said: I saw smoke emerging from the Mosque of Dirar when it collapsed.
10090 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Then it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell," he said: By Allah, it did not stop until it fell into the Fire. It was mentioned to us that a pit was dug there and smoke was seen coming from it.
10091 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, 'Amir narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Then it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell," meaning it passed through when it was swallowed up into it.
10092 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, he said: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah mentioned that smoke continues to gush out from it because of His saying: "Then it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell," and it is said that it is a pit from the fire of Hell.
His saying, the Almighty: "And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."

10093 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding His saying: "The building which they built will not cease"—this is the Mosque of Dirar—"[to be] a cause of doubt in their hearts, while they are satisfied with what they have done. Those are the hypocrites, who think they have done good and acted [rightly], just as the love of the Calf was in the hearts of its companions." And he recited: "And they were made to drink the Calf into their hearts because of their disbelief" [Al-Baqarah: 93].

10094 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ.
١٠٠٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ يَعْنِي: قَوَاعِدَهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ.
١٠٠٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدَّانَاجِ عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ الدُّخَانَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَسْجِدِ الضِّرَارِ حِينَ أَنْهَارَ.
١٠٠٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَاللَّهِ مَا تَنَاهَى أَنْ وَقَعَ فِيَ النَّارِ وَذُكِرَ لَنَا أَنَّهُ حُفِرَتْ فِيهِ بُقْعَةٌ فَرُئِيَ مِنْهَا الدُّخَانُ.
١٠٠٩١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَامِرٌ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَمَضَى حِينَ خُسِفَ بِهِ.
١٠٠٩٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
وَذَكَرَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ: أَنَّهُ لَا يَزَالُ مِنْهُ دُخَانٌ يَفُورُ لِقَوْلِهِ فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَيُقَالُ: إِنَّهُ بُقْعَةٌ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ.
تَقَدَّمَ تَفْسِيرُهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا.
١٠٠٩٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: لا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا هَذَا الْمَسْجِدُ الضِّرَارُ، رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ رَاضِينَ بِمَا صَنَعُوا، أُولَئِكَ الْمُنَافِقُونِ، يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَحْسَنُوا وَصَنَعُوا كَمَا كَانَ حُب الْعِجْلِ فِي قُلُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِ وَقَرَأَ: وَأُشْرِبُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بكفرهم قال.
