Translation · EN

Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," meaning: doubt. It was narrated from al-Dahhak, Qatadah, and al-Suddi the same.

The Second Aspect:

10095 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Yahya al-Razi Ishaq ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit regarding "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," he said: [meaning] anguish in their hearts.

The Third Aspect:

10096 - My father narrated to us, 'Isa ibn Ziyad narrated to us, Yahya ibn al-Durays informed us, from Sufyan, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," he said: A sharp pain (hazazah) in their hearts.

10097 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Bashir narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah regarding "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," he said: Doubt. And someone else said: Anguish.

The Fourth Aspect:

10098 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Hamzah regarding the saying of Allah: "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," he said: Regret for what they have done.

His saying, the Almighty: "in their hearts."

10099 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far al-Razi informed us, Yahya ibn al-Durays narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "The building which they built will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts," he said: Anguish in their chests.

His saying, the Almighty: "unless their hearts are cut into pieces."

[The First Aspect]

10000 - (*) My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "unless their hearts are cut into pieces, and Allah is Knowing, Wise," meaning: death. And it was narrated from Mujahid, al-Dahhak, Qatadah, Habib ibn Abi Thabit, al-Suddi, and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam something similar.

طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: لَا يَزَالُ بِنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ يَعْنِي:

الشَّكَ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَالسُّدِّيِّ: مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:

١٠٠٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الرَّازِيُّ إِسْحَاقُ بنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالَ: غَيْظًا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:

١٠٠٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَنْبَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ الضُّرَيْسِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: لا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الذي بنوا ريبة في قلوبهم قَالَ: حَزَازَةٌ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ.

١٠٠٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالَ: شَكًا، وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ:

حَزَازَةً.

وَالْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ:

١٠٠٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالَ: نَدَامَةً بِمَا صَنَعُوا.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ.

١٠٠٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الضُّرَيْسِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: لا يزال بنيانهم الذي بنوا ريبة في قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالَ: حَزَازَةٌ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِلَّا أن تقطع قلوبهم.

١٠٠٠٠ - (*) حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: إِلا أَنْ تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ يَعْنِي: الْمَوْتَ- وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَالضَّحَّاكِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَحَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ وَالسُّدِّيِّ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
