His saying, the Almighty: "in exchange for that they will have Paradise."
10007 - My father narrated to us, al-Musayyab ibn Wadih narrated to us, Abu Ishaq al-Fazari narrated to us, from Abu Raja', from Suhayl, from Kathir, from al-Hasan, that when he used to recite this verse: "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties," he would say: He pledged with them, by Allah, and offered them a high price.
10008 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying, the Almighty and Exalted: "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties in exchange for that they will have Paradise."
His saying, the Almighty: "They fight."
10009 - And by the same chain from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "They fight," meaning: they fight the polytheists, "in the cause of Allah," meaning: in the obedience of Allah, "so they kill," meaning: the enemy, "and are killed," meaning: the believers.
10010 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Abu al-Jamahir narrated to us, Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties," the verse: He said: Military campaigns (ghazw) are of two types: A campaign in which Allah is obeyed, in which corruption is forbidden, and in which the participation of a partner is well-conducted; this is from among the best of campaigns. And another campaign in which Allah is disobeyed, in which corruption becomes manifest, in which one is discouraged from fighting the enemy, and in which the companionship of the companion is mistreated; this is from among the worst of campaigns.
His saying, the Almighty: "as a true promise upon Him."
10011 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "as a true promise upon Him," meaning: He will fulfill what He promised them of Paradise in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran.
His saying, the Almighty: "in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran."
10012 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salamah narrated to us, Mubarak informed us, who said: I heard al-Hasan saying regarding His saying: "as a true promise upon Him." Al-Hasan said: Where did He say it? In the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ.
١٠٠٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا تَلا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم قَالَ: بَايَعَهُمْ وَاللَّهِ فَأَغْلَى لَهُمْ.
١٠٠٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يُقَاتِلُونَ.
١٠٠٠٩ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ يُقَاتِلُونَ يَعْنِي: أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ، فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي: فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ، فَيَقْتُلُونَ يَعْنِي: الْعَدُوَّ ويقتلون يَعْنِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
١٠٠١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، أَنْبَأَ سَعِيدُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ الآيَةَ. قَالَ: الْغَزْوُ غَزْوَانِ: فَغَزْوٌ يُطَاعُ اللَّهُ فِيهِ وَيُنْهَى فِيهِ عَنِ الْفَسَادِ، وَيَحْسُنُ فِيهِ مُشَارَكَةُ الشَّرِيكِ فَهَذَا مِنْ خَيْرِ الْغَزْوِ، وَغَزْوٌ آخَرُ يُعْصَى اللَّهُ فِيهِ، وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِ الْفَسَادُ، وَيُنْكَلُ فِيهِ عَنِ الْعَدُوِّ وَيُسَاءُ فِيهِ صَحَابَةُ الصَّاحِبِ، فَهَذَا مِنْ شَرِّ الْغَزْوِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا.
١٠٠١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا يَعْنِي: يُنْجِزُ مَا وَعَدَهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ.
١٠٠١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنْبَأَ مُبَارَكُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: أَيْنَ قَالَ؟ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ.
