Translation · EN

Lahi'ah, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "The bowers," meaning: In the prayers.

His saying, the Almighty: "The prostrators."

10035 - My father narrated to us, al-Musayyab ibn Wadih narrated to us, Abu Ishaq al-Fazari narrated to us, from Abu Raja', from Suhayl, from Kathir ibn Ziyad Abu Sahl, from al-Hasan: "The prostrators" [are those] in the obligatory prayers.

10036 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah: "The prostrators," he said: It was mentioned to us that the closest a servant is to Allah is during his prostration.

His saying, the Almighty: "The enjoiners of good."

10037 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "The enjoiners of good," meaning: With monotheism (Tawhid).

10038 - My father narrated to us, al-Musayyab ibn Wadih narrated to us, Abu Ishaq al-Fazari narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Hazm, the brother of Hazm ibn Abi Hazm al-Quta'i, from Kathir ibn Ziyad Abu Sahl al-Bursani, from al-Hasan: "The enjoiners of good," meaning: With 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but Allah).

10039 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr Zunayj narrated to us, Hakkam narrated to us, Tha'labah ibn Suhayl narrated to us, from a man, from al-Hasan, that he was asked about this verse: "The enjoiners of good," he said: They did not enjoin good until they were among those who perform it.

His saying, the Almighty: "The restrainers of evil."

10040 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And the restrainers of evil," meaning: From polytheism (shirk).
