10163 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-'Abbas told us, Yazid told us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding "Concerned for you (azizun 'alayhi ma 'anittum)": He said: The suffering of their believers.
10164 - Ali ibn al-Hasan told us, Abu al-Jumahir told us, Sa'id ibn Bashir told us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah regarding "Concerned for you (azizun 'alayhi ma 'anittum)": [It means] that you should be preferred [in hardship] over anyone other than Qatadah.
His saying, the Almighty: "[He is] concerned for you (harisun 'alaykum)."
10165 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq regarding His saying: "Concerned for you (harisun 'alaykum)": That your disbelievers may believe.
10166 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-'Abbas informed us, Yazid told us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Concerned for you (harisun 'alaykum)": He said: Concerned for their misguided ones, that he may guide them.
His saying, the Almighty: "To the believers [he is] kind and merciful."
10167 - Abu 'Ubayd Allah, the nephew of Ibn Wahb, told us, my uncle told us, Yunus ibn Yazid and Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah told us, from al-Zuhri, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have names: I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and I am al-Mahi (the Effacer) by whom Allah effaces disbelief, and I am al-Hashir (the Gatherer) at whose feet the people are gathered, and I am al-'Aqib (the Successor) after whom there is no one." And Allah has named him kind and merciful.
10168 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr informed us, from Abu Rawq, regarding His saying: "To the believers" — all of them — "kind and merciful."
His saying, the Almighty: "Merciful."
10169 - It was mentioned from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Bishr ibn al-Hakam, Musa ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Qinbari told us, al-Hakam ibn Aban told us, from 'Ikrimah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Gabriel came to me and said: O Muhammad, your Lord sends you greetings. This is the Angel of the Mountains, whom He has sent to you, and He has commanded him to do nothing except by your command. The Angel of the Mountains said to him: Indeed, Allah has commanded me to do nothing except by your command. If you wish, I will crush them between the mountains; if you wish, I will pelt them with stones; and if you wish, I will cause the earth to swallow them. He said: O Angel of the Mountains, I hope that He will bring forth from their descendants those who will say: There is no deity but Allah. The Angel of the Mountains said: You are just as your Lord named you: kind and merciful."
١٠١٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ ثنا يَزِيدُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَالَ: عَنَتُ مُؤْمِنِهِمْ.
١٠١٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ أَنْ تُفَضِّلُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ قَتَادَةَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ.
١٠١٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابٌ أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ قَوْلُهُ: حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ يُؤْمِنَ كُفَّارُكُمْ.
١٠١٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ ثنا يَزِيدُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ:
حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ قَالَ: حَرِيصٌ عَلَى ضَالِّهِمْ أَنْ يَهْدِيَهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تعالى: بالمؤمنين رؤف رحيم
١٠١٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ثنا عَمِّي ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لِي أَسْمَاءٌ، أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِي الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الذين يحشر النساء عَلَى قَدَمَيَّ، وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ: الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ أحد وقد سماه الله رؤفا رَحِيمًا.
١٠١٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابٌ، أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ كلهم رؤف رَحِيمٌ
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: رَحِيمٌ.
١٠١٦٩ - ذُكِرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْقِنْبَارِيُّ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لِي: يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبِّكَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلامَ وَهَذَا مَلَكُ الْجِبَالِ قَدْ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَمَرَهُ أَلا يَفْعَلَ شَيْئًا إِلا بِأَمْرِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَلَكُ الْجِبَالِ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَلا أَفْعَلَ شَيْئًا إِلا بِأَمْرِكَ، إِنْ شِئْتَ دَمْدَمْتُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجِبَالَ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ رَمَيْتَهُمْ بِالْحَصْبَاءِ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ خَسَفْتُ بِهِمُ الأَرْضَ، قَالَ: يَا مَلَكَ الْجِبَالِ، فَإِنِّي آتِي بِهِمْ بِهِمْ، لَعَلَّهُمْ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ ذُرِّيَّةً يَقُولُوا: لَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ، فَقَالَ مَلَكُ الْجِبَالِ: أَنْتَ كَمَا سماك ربك رؤف رحيم.
