10235 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to him, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Aslam, regarding His saying, the Exalted: "And those who are heedless of Our signs," he said: These are the people of disbelief. Then he said: "Those, their refuge is the Fire for what they used to earn."

10237 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid al-Azraq told us, Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq told us, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba told us, from Qatadah, meaning His saying: "Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, their Lord will guide them by their faith." Al-Hasan reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, when the believer emerges from his grave, his deed is personified for him in a beautiful form and a pleasant scent. He says to him: 'Who are you? By Allah, I see that you are the countenance of a truthful person.' He says: 'I am your deed.' So it becomes a light for him, guiding him to Paradise. As for the disbeliever, when he emerges from his grave, his deed is personified for him in an ugly form and a foul stench. He says: 'Who are you? By Allah, I see that you are the countenance of a wicked person.' He says: 'I am your deed.' So he leads him until he enters him into the Fire."

His saying, the Exalted: "Their call therein"
