His saying, the Exalted: "And those who earned evil deeds" the verse.

10350 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "an evil deed," he said: "The evil."

His saying, the Exalted: "And [darkness] will cover them"

10351 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "They will not have from Allah any protector," [he said]: "Any intercessor."

His saying, the Exalted: "As if their faces were covered with pieces of the night, dark."

10352 - My father told us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la told us, Muhammad ibn Thawr told us, from Ma'mar, from Qatadah: "As if their faces were covered with pieces of the night, dark," he said: "A darkness from the night."

His saying, the Exalted: "Those are the companions of the Fire."

10353 - Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa Harun ibn Hatim told us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik, regarding His saying: "Those are the companions of the Fire," [he said]: "They are the companions of the Fire who will be punished therein."

His saying, the Exalted: "They will abide therein eternally."

10354 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, Abu Ghassan told us, Salamah told us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad told me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr or 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "They will abide therein eternally," meaning: "eternally, forever."

His saying, the Exalted: "And the Day We gather them."

10355 - 'Amr ibn 'Abd Allah al-Awdi told us, Waki' told us, from al-A'mash, he said: I heard them mentioning from Mujahid: "And the Day We gather them," he said: "The gathering (al-hashr) is death."

His saying, the Exalted: "Together."

10356 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj told us, Ibn Numayr told us, from Hanzalah al-Qass, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "Everything will be gathered, to the extent that even the fly will be gathered."
