His saying, the Exalted: "And among them are those who believe in it, and among them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters."

10395 - My father told us, 'Isa ibn Ja'far told us, Muslim told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, who said: "Allah is not unaware of those who desire reform and corruption from you."

His saying, the Exalted: "And if they deny you, then say, 'My deeds are for me...'" [until the end of the] verse.

10396 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, who said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam, regarding the saying of Allah: "And if they deny you, then say, 'My deeds are for me, and your deeds are for you. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do.'" He said: He commanded him with this, then He abrogated it, so He commanded him to perform jihad against them.

His saying, the Exalted: "And among them are those who listen to you..." [until the end of the] verse.

10397 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "And among them are those who listen to you," he said: "Quraish."

His saying, the Exalted: "And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind...?" [until the end of the] verse.

10398 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr told us, Salamah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said in what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad told me, from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "They do not see," meaning: they do not see the truth.

His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all..." [until the end of the] verse.

10399 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab ibn al-Harith told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "they are wronging themselves," he said: "They are causing harm."

His saying, the Exalted: "And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day."

10400 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj told us, Ibrahim told us, Sufyan told us, from his father, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "Their gathering is death."

His saying, the Exalted: "They will recognize one another."

10401 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn told us, Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna told us, 'Abd Allah al-Hanafi told us, who said:
