The third aspect:

10421 - Abu Zur'ah told us, 'Umar ibn Hammad told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi, regarding "guidance," he said: "Light."

10422 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah told me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar told me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding "guidance," meaning: "a clarification."

His saying, the Exalted: "And mercy for the believers."

10423 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad told us, Adam told us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi told us, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding His saying: "and mercy," he said: "The mercy of the Quran."

His saying, the Exalted: "Say, 'In the bounty of Allah...'

10424 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj told us, Abu Mu'awiyah told us, from Hajjaj, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, who said: "In the bounty of Allah and His mercy," he said: "The bounty of Allah is the Quran."

Abu Muhammad said: Thus it was said, and Abu Mu'awiyah said, from Hajjaj, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id. And 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated it from Hajjaj, from 'Atiyyah, from Ibn 'Abbas.

The second aspect:

10425 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj told us, Abu Khalid—meaning: Sulayman ibn Hayyan al-Ahmar—told us, from Hajjaj, from 'Atiyyah, from Ibn 'Abbas, and Hajjaj, from al-Qasim, from Mujahid, both said: "The bounty of Allah is the religion (al-din)."

It was narrated from Abu al-'Aliyah, al-Hasan, Hilal ibn Yasaf, 'Ikrimah, Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas similarly.

His saying, the Exalted: "And His mercy."

10426 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj told us, Abu Mu'awiyah told us, from Hajjaj, from 'Ata', from Abu Sa'id, regarding "and His mercy," he said: "By His mercy, He made you among its people."
