His saying, the Almighty: "There will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve."
10457 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah told me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar told me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "There will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve," meaning: in the Hereafter. "Nor will they grieve," meaning: they will not grieve for death.
His saying, the Almighty: "Those who believed and were fearing [Allah]."
10458 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the saying of Allah: "Unquestionably, for the allies of Allah, there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve," he said: He said: "Who are they, O Lord?" He said: "Those who believed and were fearing [Allah]," meaning: Faith is not accepted except with piety (taqwa).
His saying, the Almighty: "For them are good tidings in the worldly life."
[The First Aspect]
10459 - Ahmad ibn Sinan told us, Abu Mu'awiyah told us, al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from 'Ata' ibn Bashar, from a man from Egypt, from Abu al-Darda', he said: He was asked about this verse: "For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter." He said: "You have asked about something that I have not heard anyone ask about since a man asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'It is the righteous vision that the Muslim man sees, or is seen for him. His good tidings in the worldly life, and his good tidings in the Hereafter is Paradise.'"
10460 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Yazid al-Muqri' told us, Sufyan told us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from 'Ata' ibn Dinar, from a man from the people of Egypt, he said: I asked Abu al-Darda' about His saying: "For them are good tidings." He said: "No one has asked me about it since I asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: 'No one has asked me about it other than you since it was revealed; it is: the righteous vision that the man sees, or is seen for him.'"
The Second Aspect:
10461 - al-Mundhir ibn Shadhan told us, Ya'la told us, Abu Bistam told us, from al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "For them are good tidings in the worldly life," he said: "He knows where he is before he dies." And it was narrated from Zayd ibn Aslam similarly.
