10485 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "Then resolve to me and do not give me respite," meaning: "Resolve for me what is in your souls."

10486 - My father, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la told us, Muhammad ibn Thawr told us, from Ma'mar, from Qatadah regarding: "Then resolve to me and do not give me respite," meaning: "To what you have decided."
His saying, the Almighty: "And do not give me respite"
10487 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, from Bishr ibn 'Umarah, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And do not give me respite [wa-la tunziruni]," he says: "And do not delay me."
His saying, the Almighty: "But if you turn away, then no wage have I asked of you"
10488 - And by the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "Say to them, I do not ask of you any reward for what I call you to," he says: "Any worldly benefit."
His saying, the Almighty: "My reward is only with Allah"

10491 - Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la informed us by way of reading, Ibn Wahb informed me, he said: It reached me from Ibn 'Abbas that he said: "There were eighty men on Noah's ark, and one of them had an Arabic tongue."
10492 - 'Umar ibn al-'Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, told me, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah told us, Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq told us, from al-Hasan ibn Dinar, from 'Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abbas, he said: I heard him saying: "The first of the animals Noah carried in..."

١٠٤٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، وَرْقَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَوْلُهُ: اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلا تُنْظِرُونَ: اقْضُوا لِي مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ.

١٠٤٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلا تُنْظِرُونَ: إِلَى مَا كُنْتُمْ قَاضِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا تُنْظَرُونَ
١٠٤٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مِنْجَابٌ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا تُنْظَرُونَ يَقُولُ: وَلا تُؤَخِّرُونَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُمْ مِنْ أَجْرٍ
١٠٤٨٨ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قُلْ لَهُمْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَى مَا أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَيْهِ أَجْرًا يَقُولُ: عَرَضًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلا عَلَى الله
١٠٤٨٩ - حدثنا حجاج بن حمزة، شَبَابَةُ، عَنْ وَرْقَاءَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ يَقُولُ: جَزَائِي.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
١٠٤٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ كَاتِبُ اللَّيْثِ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ ابْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: الْمُسْلِمِينَ يقول: موحدين.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ
١٠٤٩١ - أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قِرَاءَةً، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: كَانَ فِي سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلا أَحَدَهُمْ كَانَ لِسَانَهُ عَرَبِيًّا.
١٠٤٩٢ - حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ أَوَّلُ مَا حَمَلَ نُوحٌ فِي
