His saying, Exalted is He: "And they will abide forever in the Fire"
10054 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan reported to us, Salama narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, or 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "they will abide forever," i.e., abiding eternally. And it was narrated from al-Suddi similar to that.
His saying, Exalted is He: "The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained"
10055 - Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us, 'Amr ibn al-Harith reported to us from Darraj, he narrated to us from Abu al-Haytham from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you see a man frequenting the mosques, then testify to his faith." Allah says: "The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah."
His saying, Exalted is He: "by those who believe in Allah"
10056 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "by those who believe in Allah," he means: whoever declares the oneness of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic.
His saying, Exalted is He: "and the Last Day"
10057 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "and the Last Day," he means: he believed in Allah and believed in what Allah, Blessed and Exalted, revealed.
His saying, Exalted is He: "and established prayer"
10058 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas: "and established prayer," he means the five prayers.
His saying, Exalted is He: "and did not fear anyone but Allah"
10059 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas, he says: And did not worship anyone but Allah.
His saying, Exalted is He: "For it is expected that those will be among the [rightly] guided"
10060 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas, he says: Verily those are the ones who are successful, similar to His saying to His Prophet (peace be upon him): "It is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station," he says: That your Lord will surely resurrect you to a praised station, which is the intercession. And every "expected" (asa) in the Qur'an is certain/obligatory (wajibah).
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ
١٠٠٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، أَوْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ:
هُمْ خَالِدُونَ أَيْ خَالِدًا أَبَدًا. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ
١٠٠٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَنْبَأَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الرَّجُلَ يَعْتَادُ الْمَسَاجِدَ فَاشْهَدُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالإِيمَانِ» ، قَالَ اللَّهُ: إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ
١٠٠٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ يَعْنِي: مَنْ وَحَّدَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ
١٠٠٥٧ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ يَعْنِي: آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَآمَنَ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ
١٠٠٥٨ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ يَعْنِي الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلا اللَّهَ
١٠٠٥٩ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: وَلَمْ يَعْبُدُ إِلا اللَّهَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَعَسَى أُولَئِكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ
١٠٠٦٠ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ كَقَوْلِهِ لِنَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا يَقُولُ: أَنَّ رَبَّكَ سَيَبْعَثُكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا وَهِيَ الشَّفَاعَةُ، وَكُلُّ عَسَى فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَاجِبَةٌ.
