Translation · EN

10615 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us, in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the saying of Allah: 'An abomination from the work of Satan,' he said: 'The Rijs is the evil from the work of Satan.'

His saying, the Almighty: 'Say: Look at what is in the heavens and the earth.'

10616 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' told us, from Ibn Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: 'They do not believe'—he said: 'He has decreed for them that they will not believe.'

His saying, the Almighty: 'Do they wait for anything except the like of the days of those who passed away before them?'

10617 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan told us, Abu al-Jumahir told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah: 'Do they wait for anything except the like of the days of those who passed away before them?'—meaning: 'Like the people of Noah, 'Ad, and Thamud. Say: Then wait, for I am with you among those who wait.'

10618 - My father told us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki al-Sa'di told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far—he is al-Marari—told us, from al-Rabi' regarding His saying: 'Do they wait for anything except the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Then wait, for I am with you among those who wait'—he terrified them with His torment, His punishment, and His vengeance.

His saying, the Almighty: 'Then We save Our messengers and those who have believed, likewise.'

10619 - My father told us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far told us, from his father, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, he said: 'Then He informed them that when something of that [punishment] occurs, Allah saves His messengers and those who believed, so He said: "Then We save Our messengers and those who have believed, likewise, it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers."

His saying, the Almighty: 'Say: O people, if you are in doubt about my religion.'

10620 - My father told us, Ibn Abi 'Umar told us, Sufyan told us, from Khalaf ibn Hawshab, he said: I was with al-Rabi' ibn Abi Rashid when he heard a man reciting: "O people, if you are in doubt about the resurrection, then We created you from dust." He said: "Were it not that I dissent from those who were before me, I would not have left my dwelling until I die."

His saying, the Almighty: 'So I do not worship those whom you worship other than Allah.'

10621 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid told us, Shu'bah ibn Ishaq told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: 'Other than Allah'—he said: 'The idol.'
