10672 - My father told us, Hawdhah told us, ‘Awf told us, from al-Hasan regarding [His saying:] "He knows what they conceal and what they declare," he said: "In the darkness of the night and in the interiors of their houses."

His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, He is All-Knowing of that within the breasts."

10673 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas told us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr told us, Salamah told us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: "And Allah is All-Knowing of that within the breasts," meaning: Nothing of what they have concealed from you in their breasts is hidden from Him.

10674 - My father told us, Hawdhah told us, ‘Awf told us, from al-Hasan regarding "Indeed, He is All-Knowing of that within the breasts": He knows that time.

His saying, the Almighty: "And there is no creature on earth"

10675 - Muhammad ibn Sa‘d informed us in what he wrote to me, my father told us, my paternal uncle told us, my father told us, from his father, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision," meaning: every creature. And it was narrated from al-Dahhak the same.

His saying, the Almighty: "But that upon Allah is its provision"

10676 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan told us, Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Harawi told us, Hajjaj told us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid regarding: "And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision," [he said:] "Whatever provision comes to it, it is from Allah, and it may be that He does not provide for it until it dies of hunger, but whatever provision is for it, it is from Allah."

His saying, the Almighty: "And He knows its dwelling place"

10677 - Al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Rabi‘ told us, ‘Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ibn al-Taymi told us, from Layth, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn ‘Abbas, meaning: His saying: "And He knows its dwelling place," he said: "Its dwelling place is where it finds shelter."

10678 - Abu Zur‘ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And He knows its dwelling place," he said: "Its provision comes to it where it has been."
