10012 - It was mentioned from Abu 'Asim from Ibn Jurayj that he recited this verse: "so let them not approach the Sacred Mosque," and 'Amr ibn Dinar said: Do not enter the Sacred Mosque.

10013 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih, the scribe of al-Layth, narrated to us, al-Layth narrated to us, Yunus ibn Yazid narrated to us from Ibn Shihab, Ibn al-Musayyib told me, he said: Allah, Exalted is He, said: "Indeed, the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach the Sacred Mosque," he said: Abu Sufyan used to enter the mosque of Medina while he was an unbeliever, however, that is not permissible in the Sacred Mosque.

10014 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, al-Layth narrated to us, 'Aqil narrated to us from Ibn Shihab, and he was asked about the polytheists, so he said: It is not for the polytheist to approach the Sacred Mosque after this year of theirs; thus, the authorities would not permit the polytheists to enter Mecca.

His saying, Exalted is He: "The Sacred Mosque."

10015 - Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah al-Qazwini narrated to us, Khalid ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Makhzumi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from al-Rukayn from Mujahid from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: The entire Haram (sanctuary) is the Sacred Mosque.

10016 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Khalid, meaning Sulayman ibn Hayyan al-Ahmar, narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abd Allah ibn Muslim, meaning Ibn Hurmuz, say: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr saying: The entire Haram is a mosque. And it was narrated from Mujahid something similar.

10017 - Ahmad ibn 'Isam al-Ansari narrated to us, Abu 'Asim narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated it to us, he said: 'Ata' said: No polytheist shall enter the entire Haram, and he recited "after this year of theirs."

His saying, Exalted is He: "after this year of theirs."

10018 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas reported to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us from Qatadah regarding His saying: "after this year of theirs," and it is the year in which Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, performed Hajj, and 'Ali made the call in it with the announcement (al-adhan), and that was nine years after the migration of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him; and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, performed Hajj the following year, the Farewell Pilgrimage; he did not perform Hajj before it nor after it since he migrated.
